वास्तुशास्त्र
- ईश्वराचे मूळ अधिष्ठान ईशान्य दिशेस असल्यामुळे, देव्हाऱ्याची योग्य जागा ही ईशान्य कोपर्‍यात असते.
- वास्तुच्या ईशान्य कोपर्‍यात देव्हाऱ्याचे तोंड पश्चिमेस असेल तरी चालेल.
- ईशान्य कोपऱ्यात शक्य नसेल तर वास्तूच्या उत्तर भिंतीचे बाजूस मध्यावर, पूर्वेकडे अगर पश्चिमेकडे तोंड करून देव्हारा चालेल.
- वास्तूच्या पूर्वेकडील भिंतीचे मध्यावर ही पश्चिमेकडे तोंड करून देवाला चालेल.
- देव्हारा वास्तूच्या अगर खोलीच्या दक्षिण भिंतीजवळ अगर नैऋत्य कोपर्‍यात केव्हाही असू नये, अति पीडादायक राहील.
- देव्हारा शयनगृहात नसावा. हे अगदी योग्य असले तरी बहुतांशी लोकांच्या दीड खोलीचे निवासात या नियमाचे पालन अतिकठीण ठरेल. तेव्हा निदान देव्हाऱ्यासमोर तात्पुरत्या लाकडी पार्टीशन ची व्यवस्था कायमस्वरूपी अगर सरकती सहा फूट उंचीची असावी.
- आणखी एक महत्त्वाची परंतु ती इतकी दुर्लक्षित गोष्ट येथे मुद्दाम सांगाविशी वाटते व ती म्हणजे पुष्कळशा घरातील देवांवर विटाळशी छाया पडत असते. असे घडल्यास घरातील वातावरण कधीच आनंदी राहू शकत नाही कारण हा फार मोठा दोष आहे.
- तो टाळण्यासाठी अडचणीच्या पाच दिवसाच्या काळात देवघरावर चक्क एक शाल पांघरून देवांना झाकून ठेवावे. अर्थात थोडी हवा खेळण्या पुरती जागा ठेवूनच हे करावे. या चार दिवसांत पुजा बंद ठेवावी.
- मात्र मंत्रजप वैगरे अवश्य करावा.
- तसेच रामरक्षेसारखी स्तोत्रे पाळी असलेल्या स्त्रीने ऐकू नयेत हा दंडक आहे.
- हे पाच दिवस संपल्यानंतर घरात व देवापुढे मात्र देवावर नाही. गोमूत्र शिंपडून दैनंदिन पूजा सुरू करावी.
- पूजाघराचे वर अगर खाली शौचालय नसावे. पुजाघराचा रंग शक्‍यतो फिकट पिवळा असावा.
- पूजा घरातील आग्नेय कोपऱ्यात दीप अगर लाल रंगाचा बल्ब नित्य असावा.
- हवन देव्हाऱ्याचे आग्नेय कोपऱ्यात पूर्वेकडे तोंड करून करावे.
- देवाचे फोटो दक्षिणेला लावू नये.
- पुजाघरात प्राणी, पशू-पक्षी , महाभारताचे युद्ध प्रसंग चित्रे लावू नयेत.
- देव्हाऱ्याचे अगदी समोर तिजोरी नसावी.
- पूजा घराचे प्रवेशद्वारासमोर देवाचे फोटो लावू नयेत.
- पुजाघरास उंबरठा अवश्य असावा.
- देव्हाऱ्याच्या वरती माळा असू नये. असल्यास तो वापरू नये.
- देवाघरची द्वारे उत्तर – पूर्वेस असावी.
- पूजागृह भिंतीत कोंरून करू नये. अगर देव्हारा पूर्ण भिंतीस चिकटवून ठेवू नये.
- पूजा घरात अडगळीच्या वस्तू ठेवू नये.
- कपाटे दक्षिण व पश्चिम दिशेस असावित.
- प्राचीन मुर्त्यांचे भग्ना अवशेष पूजाघरात ठेवू नये.
- वास्तुच्या पूर्व दिशेस देवघर असल्यास ऐश्वर्य व प्रतिष्ठा लाभ.
- वास्तूच्या उत्तर दिशेला देवघर असलेल्या सर्वसुख, ऐश्वर्य लाभ.
- वास्तूच्या दक्षिण दिशेस देवघर असल्यास शत्रुपीडा.
- वास्तूच्या पश्चिम दिशेला देवघर असल्यास रोगबाधा.
- वास्तूच्या नैऋत्य दिशेस देवघर असल्यास शत्रू , नकारात्मक पीडा.
- वास्तूच्या आग्नेय दिशेस देवघर असल्यास होमहवनाशिवाय बाकी उपासना निष्फळ ठरते.
- देवपूजेतील देव एकमेकांना पहात आहेत ,असे मांडू नयेत. देव्हाऱ्यात धन पैसे दडवून ठेवू नये.
- देव्हाऱ्यात कमीत कमी देव , मूर्ती अगर तस्वीरी असावेत. कुलदेवी टाक अगर मूर्ती,अगर तस्वीर, कुलदैवत, इष्टदैवत,लंगडा बाळकृष्ण व शंकराची पिंड डाव्या सोंडेचा गणपती, पितरांचे टाक 2 – 3 यंत्रे असली तरी चालतील. पण यंत्रेही देवताची आसने असतात. तेव्हा उभी मांडू नये. जमिनीशी समांतर असावी.
- एकाच देवाच्या दोन अगर जास्त मूर्ति असू नये. त्यामुळे त्यापैकी एकही कार्य करीत नाही . त्याच देवतेची मूर्ती व तस्वीर चालेल. देवी निरनिराळ्या दोन असल्या तरी चालतील. दोन पेक्षा जास्त नकोत.
- दत्तक गेलेल्या घराण्याचे अगर बुडीत करण्याचे देव देव्हाऱ्यात पुजू नये. ते सर्वच विधीवत विसर्जन करून नवीन देव करावे. नाहीतर पुजकाचीही वंशबुडी होईल. अनेक संकटानी तो त्रस्त होईल.
- देव्हाऱ्यात भगवान शंकराची मूर्ती अगर फोटो ठेऊ नयेत. घराचे वातावरण स्मशानवत स्वरूपात मानले जाते.
- संसारी माणसाने मारुती देव्हाऱ्यात पूजा करू नये. कुटुंबाचा वंश खंड होण्याची शक्यता राहते . घरात कुठेही मारुतीचा फोटो असावा.
- देव्हाऱ्यात शनीची पूजा करु नये. सर्व जीवन संकटमय अति उदास राहते.
- देव्हाऱ्यात मुंजापूजा करू नये. बाकीचे देव काम करीत नाही. शिवाय त्या मुंजा सद्गतीपासून बंधनात अडकविल्यामुळे पूजा करूनही त्याचे फक्त शापच मिळतात.
- देव्हाऱ्यात गायत्री मातेची पूजा करू नये. कारण गायत्री मातेचे स्वरूप पराकोटीचे पवित्र आहे. शिवा शिव पाळणे अतिकडक असते. छाया देखील त्यावर पडलेली चालत नाही.
- देवघरात उंचावर फोटो लावला तर चालेल.
- देवघरात काळभैरवाची पूजा देखील निषिद्ध आहे. तो यम असुन स्वभाव उग्र व कडक आहे.
- देव्हाऱ्यात म्हसोबा पुजू नये, कुलदेवीचे कृपाछत्र कुटुंबावर राहत नाही. कुटुंब नित्य अनेक संकटांनी पीडित राहते.
- देव्हाऱ्यात पिराची अगर पिराच्या चिन्हांची पूजा करू नये. इतर हिंदू देव-देवतांची कृपा लाभत नाही.
- गुरु व शिष्य यांची पूजा करू नये. शिष्याचा कोप होतो.
- देवाच्या मूर्ती शोभेसाठी शोकेस मध्ये ठेवू नये. ते देव त्या कुटुंबाची शोभा करतात.
- देव्हाऱ्यातील पूजेच्या मूर्ती तीन इंचापेक्षा कमी उंचीच्या असावे. जास्त उंचीच्या असल्यास विसर्जन करावेत देवांना माशी लागलेली असू नये .
- देव भग्न चित्र पडलेले, आस , आयुधे हलत असलेली गेलेली विद्रूप झालेले, पाण्यात टाकल्यावर बुडबुडे येणारे असे नसावे. ताबडतोब विसर्जन करून नवीन मूर्ती स्थापना कराव्यात.
- बक्षीस मिळालेले सापडलेले देव देव्हाऱ्यात पुजू नये. आसरांचे शुक्रवारी विधिवत प्रवाहात विसर्जन करावे.
- देव्हाऱ्यात सकाळ-संध्याकाळ नित्याचे जेवणाचा नैवेद्य असावा. त्याशिवाय घरी कोणी जेवण करू नये. सकाळी डबा लवकर द्यायचा असेल, लहान मुलांना खाऊ घालायचे असेल , तर उष्टे व्हावयाचे आत देवाचा नैवेद्य बाजूला काढून ठेवून नंतर दाखविणे.
- जे कुटुंब देवांना न चुकता नित्य जेवणाचा नैवेद्य देतात, त्यांना जीवनात देव दोन्ही वेळच्या अन्नाची काहीच कमतरता पडू देत नाही.
- देवाच्या मूर्ती उत्तरेकडे तोंड करून असल्या तर नैवेद्य समोरून न दाखविता बाजूस पूर्व पश्चिम या दिशांना तोंड करून दाखवावा.
Vaastu Shastra
- Since the original abode of God is in the northeast direction, the proper place of the deity is in the northeast corner.

- Devhara should not be in the bedroom. While this may be appropriate, most people will find it very difficult to follow this rule in a one-and-a-half-room apartment. Therefore, the arrangement of temporary wooden partition in front of Nidan Devhara should be permanent or sliding six feet high.
- Another important thing, but it seems to be such a neglected thing to say here on purpose, and it is that the gods of many houses are overshadowed by ugliness. If this happens then, the atmosphere in the home can never be happy because it is a huge fault.
- To avoid it, the gods should be covered with a shawl over the temple during the five days of difficulty. Of course, this should be done with a little air space. Puja should be closed during these four days.
- But chanting must be done.
- It is also a punishment not to be heard by a menstruating woman like Ramrakshe.
- After these five days, God is not at home and before God. Daily pooja should be started by sprinkling cow urine.
- There should be no toilet above or below the shrine. The color of the shrine should preferably be pale yellow.
- There should be a lamp or a red bulb in the southeast corner of the house of worship.
- Havan should be done facing east in the southeast corner of Devaraya.
- The image of God should not be placed in the south.
- Animals, beasts, and birds, war scenes of Mahabharata, should not be displayed in the shrine.
- There should not be safe in front of the temple.
- Images of God should not be placed in front of the entrance of the house of worship.
- The threshold of the shrine must be.

- It should be north-east through the temple.
- The walls of the shrine should not be carved if Devhara should not be glued to the entire wall.

- It should not be said that the gods in worship are looking at each other. Wealth should not be hidden in the temple.
- The temple should have at least one God, idol, or image. Kuldevi Tak or icon, or picture, Kuldaivat, Ishtadaivat, lame Balkrishna, and Shankara’s body Ganpati of the left sonde, Pitran’s Tak will work even if there are 2-3 machines. But the tools are also the seats of the deity. So don’t stand up. Should be parallel to the ground.
- There should not be two or more idols of the same God. So none of that works. The icon and picture of the same deity will work. The goddesses will walk even if there are two different ones. No more than two.
- The God of adoption or drowning should not be worshiped in the temple. They should all be duly immersed in the new God. Otherwise, the priest will also be demolished. He will suffer many troubles.
- Idols or photos of Lord Shiva should not be kept in the temple. The atmosphere of the house is considered in the form of a cemetery.
- The worldly man should not worship in Maruti Devara. The family lineage remains likely to be broken. There should be a photo of Maruti anywhere in the house.
- Saturn should not be worshiped in the temple. All life remains crisis-ridden.
- Munja Puja should not be done in the temple. The rest of God is not working. Moreover, since Munja is trapped in bondage from Sadgati, he gets only curses even after performing pooja.
- Mother Gayatri should not be worshiped in the temple because the nature of Mother Gayatri is exceptionally sacred. Shiva, It is tough to follow Shiva. Even the shadows don’t fall on it.
- If you take a photo on a height in the temple, it will work.
- Worship of Kalbhairava is also forbidden in the temple. He is Yama, and his temperament is harsh and strict.
- Mhasoba should not be worshiped in the temple; Kuldevi’s grace does not rest on the family. The family suffers from many problems.
- Do not worship Pira or Pira’s symbols in the temple. He does not get the grace of other Hindu deities.
- Guru and disciple should not be worshiped. The disciple gets angry.
- Idols of God should not be placed in showcases for decoration. Those gods beautify that family.
- Worship idols in temples should be less than three inches high. If it is too high, it should be immersed. The gods should not have a fly.
- God should not be a broken image, a hope, a moving weapon, a disfigured, bubble when thrown into the water. Immersion should be done immediately, and new idols should be installed.
- The rewarded God should not be worshiped in the temple. Asar should be duly immersed in the stream on Friday.
- There should be a daily meal offering in the morning and evening in the temple. No one should eat at home without it. If you want to give the box early in the morning, if you’re going to feed the little ones, if you’re going to give it away, then you have to put aside the offering of God and show it later.
- Those families who offer daily meals to the gods without fail, God does not allow them to run out of food both times in life.
- The idols of God are facing north.
