लोकांचा तळतळाट करून मिळवलेले धन झपाट्याने नष्ट होते.
⚉ श्रीयुत टोपे राहणार मालाड, (मुंबई ) या यजमानांकडे त्यांच्या गावाला सातारा, फलटणला संमिश्र-याग करायचा होता. मी व माझे सहकारी प्रवासाला निघालो. मध्यरात्री आम्ही त्यांच्या गावाला पोहोचलो. एका टेकडीवर त्यांचे घर होते. लांबचा प्रवास व अनोळखी गाव असल्याने झोप काही केल्या मला येत नव्हती. आमच्यासाठी त्यांनी एक खोली दिली होती. अगदी ब्राह्मी मुहूर्तावर त्या खोलीचा दरवाजा कर …कर… करून एका अज्ञात शक्तीने तो उघडला.
आम्हाला न्याहाळले व ती शक्ती तेथून निघून गेली, मी हा खेळ पाहत होतो. या यजमानांच्या घरच्या माथ्याच्या टेकडीवर दत्त महाराजांचे देऊळ होते. सकाळच्या आरतीने आम्ही सारे जागे झालो.
दुसऱ्या दिवशी सकाळी हवनाचा कार्यक्रम सुरेख पार पडला. घरातल्या सर्वांना त्याचा आनंद लुटता आला. दुपारनंतर त्यांनी मला त्यांच्या शेतावर नेले. जिथे लांडगे माणसाला फाडून खात असत. त्या शेतात एक विहीर होती . तिला पाणीच येत नव्हते. मी नाथांकडून आदेश घेतला तर असे समजले की, ही विहीर शापित आहे. परंतु ही विहीर काही वर्षाने चांगल्या प्रकारे पाण्याने भरली जाईल. व तसे झाले हे नाथकृपे मुळेच…
त्यांच्या घरात बैल होता, तो खूपच कळवळत होता. तो अनेक दिवसापासून आजारी असल्याचे मला यजमानांनी सांगितले. असे का असावे ? या हेतूने पाहिले असता असे समजले की, यजमानांचे चुलते यजमानांवर अनिष्ट प्रयोग करीत होते. मी सखोल ध्यान लावले असता, असे समजले की, त्यांच्या वडिलोपार्जित जागेवर भावाभावात वाद सुरू झाले. पुढे त्यांचे रूपांतर मारामारी, मग खून प्रकरण व पुढे अघोरी क्रिया या सुरू होत्या.
माझ्या बुद्धीनुसार त्यांच्या वास्तूचे बंधन होणे तसेच प्रत्येकाला सुरक्षा कवच धारण करणे गरजेचे होते. तात्पुरती सुरक्षा म्हणून मी त्यांना विभूती दिली होती. केलेल्या संमिश्र यागाचे प्रयोजन संपत्ती शांती व आरोग्य मिळावे असे होते. कोणतेही हवन कार्य करण्याआधी त्याचे प्रयोजन निश्चित झाले पाहिजे. आपली माहिती व्यवस्थित देऊन मग त्यावर तोडगा शोधला पाहिजे पण बऱ्याच यजमानांना हे समजत (पटत) नाही.
