बाबांकडे गेल्यानंतर माझी गंभीर अवस्था बघून बाबांनी प्रश्न विचारला कि काय झाले? त्यावर आम्ही रात्री घडलेला सर्वप्रकार त्यांच्या कानी टाकून घडलेली घटना संपूर्ण त्यांना सांगितली. बाबांनी मला त्यांच्या आध्यात्मिक कक्षेमध्ये घेऊन गेले तेथे मला बसवले आणि शांतचित्ताने मला त्या शक्तीचे आवाहन करायला सांगितले तसे केल्यानंतर ती शक्ती तात्काळ तिथे उपस्थित झाली. झालेल्या प्रकाराबद्दल बाबांनी त्या शक्तीला जाब विचारण्यास सुरुवात केली व हातवारे आणि खाणाखुणांनी ते तिच्याशी प्रश्नांचा भडिमार करून तिच्याकडं झालेल्या प्रकाराबद्दल संवाद साधू लागले.
बाबांना त्या शक्तीने असे सांगितले कि, मी या माझ्या साधकाला रात्री एका विशिष्ट ठिकाणी जिथे नारळाची खूप झाड आहेत तेथे घेऊन जाणार होती आणि तिथे असलेले गुप्तधन या माझ्या साधकाला देऊन मी तृप्त करणार होती, त्यावर बाबांनी रागावून तिला सांगितले जर तुला कुठल्याही प्रकारची माझ्या शिष्याला म्हणजेच तुझ्या साधकाला मदत करण्याची खरंच इच्छा आहे तर ती त्याच्या वास्तूत त्याच्या घरापर्यंत तू आणून देण्याची व्यवस्था करावी, अशा कुठल्याही प्रकारचा आतताई प्रकार मी खपवून घेणार नाही. यापुढे माझ्या शिष्याला आणि त्यांच्या घरच्या मंडळींना कुठल्याही प्रकारचा त्रास झाला तर तो मी सहन करणार नाही. याउलट तुला त्याचा परिणाम भोगावा लागेल याची तू नोंद घ्यावी आणि माझ्या शिष्याला म्हणजे तुझ्या साधकाला तू पूर्णपणे सांभाळून घेऊन त्याचे रक्षण करून त्याच्या आदेशाचे पालन करावे ही माझी इच्छा आहे हे तू ध्यानात ठेव.
मला खूपच शारीरिक थकवा आल्याने मी तो दिवस आराम करून तो थकवा दूर करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला परंतु ठरल्याप्रमाणे रात्री पुन्हा साधनेला बसलो आणि मी माझी साधना सातत्याने सुरू ठेवू लागलो. एके दिवशी मला गुरव नावाचे जुने ओळखीचे गृहस्थ भेटले व त्यांनी त्यांचे वैयक्तिक अडचणी मला सांगण्यास सुरुवात केल्यानंतर मी त्यांना लगेच माझ्याजवळ असलेल्या माझ्या रात्रीच्या साधनेच्या हवनाची विभूती काढून त्यांच्या हाती ठेवली आणि त्यांना सांगितले की तुमचे सर्व प्रश्न दूर होतील हा माझा विश्वास आहे हे तुम्ही नियमितपणे तीन दिवस करा आणि मला सांगा.
ही क्रिया करताना मी कुठल्याही प्रकारचे गुरूंचे आदेश घेतले नसल्याने मला नंतर त्या गोष्टीची जाणीव झाली आणि झालेली घटना मी बाबांना सांगितली, की माझ्याकडे तुमचा कोणताही आदेश नसतानाहि अशी गोष्ट झाली आहे तरी त्याबद्दल मला क्षमा करा. बाबांनी शांतपणे मला अशी गोष्ट पुन्हा करू नका असे सांगून तुम्ही यापुढे माझ्याकडून नाथपंथाची अधिकृत दीक्षा घेऊन माझे शिष्य व्हा आणि तुमचे पुढचे मार्गक्रमण सुरू करा. असा आदेश दिला.
नाथपंथ म्हणजे काय? दीक्षा म्हणजे काय? आणि हे सर्व मी का करायचं? कसे करायचं? याबद्दल काही नियम अटी असतील तर त्या मला झेपतील का? कारण मी संसारी माणूस असल्याने या सर्व गोष्टी कटाक्षाने पाळणं फार कठीण असतं असं मी ऐकून होतो. परंतु बाबांनी मला विचार करण्याची मुभा न देता विशिष्ट ठरल्या दिवशी संध्याकाळी चार वाजता काही सामग्री घेऊन मला पत्नीसह स्वतःच्या घरी येण्यास सांगितले.
बाबांच्या आदेशानुसार मी सर्व सामग्री गोळा करून ठरल्याप्रमाणे बाबांच्या घरी चार वाजता पोहोचलो तेव्हा त्यांच्या अध्यात्मिक कक्षात हवनाची पूर्णपणे मांडणी करून ठेवलेली होती. मी-माझी पत्नी-बाबा आणि बाबांची आई असे आम्ही चौघे त्या सोहळ्याला उपस्थित होतो, बाकिच्या सर्वांना तिथे येण्याची परवानगी नव्हती. त्यांनी योजलेल्या विधीप्रमाणे हवनकार्य संपन्न झाल्यावर त्यांनी माझ्या गळ्यात फुलांचा हार घातला आणि माझ्या हातात गुरुप्रणालीची रुद्राक्ष माळ सोपवून माझ्या कानात गुरुमंत्र फुंकला आणि मला विभूतीने लेपून घेतले.
विधि होऊन जेव्हा मी त्यांच्या घराबाहेर पडलो त्यावेळेस परमेश्वराची कृपा असावी परंतु माझ्या अंगावर मोसम नसतानाही पाऊस पडायला सुरुवात झाली हे सर्व चमत्कारिक आणि अचंबित करणारे प्रसंग होते पण ते सत्य होते यात कोणतेही दुमत नाही.
घरी आल्यानंतर माझ्या आईला मी आज पासून नाथपंथी झालो आहे आणि मी या पंथाचा प्रचार व प्रसार करून त्यांची दिलेली शिकवण म्हणजेच जीव ब्रह्म सेवा प्रत्येक जीवाची सेवा, प्रत्येक लोकांची सेवा हे करण्याचे मी प्रतिज्ञा घेतलेली आहे असे आईला नमस्कार करून सांगितले आणि तिने आशीर्वाद दिला.
